Connecting with inspiring young people

Some of our UNESCO Aotearoa Youth Leaders will be running a stand at the Festival for the Future event in Wellington from 27-29 June. The Festival for the Future showcases youth-led innovation. It brings together a diverse range of emerging leaders to connect, showcase what's possible and create the future. We will report back on our Youth Leaders' experience of the event in our next issue.

Celebrating adult learning

All adult New Zealanders are invited to take part in the Adult and Community Education (ACE) Aotearoa's Festival of Adult Learning Ahurei Ākonga during the week of September 3-9. You can either think about what you want to learn or participate in or host an event. See the ACE Aotearoa website to learn more or email Mary Gavigan at marygavigan5@gmail.com. The National Commission is a supporter of this week previously called Adult Learners' Week – which is a UNESCO initiative.

Refreshed Strategic Plan

We revised our Strategic Plan for 2018-21 at our last National Commission meeting. Check out the new document to see what's changed.
