Message from the President

Christoph Grolimund

Dear colleagues,

This edition of the ENQA newsletter brings much information from the Secretariat, including news on staff changes, upcoming events, and project activities. It is especially worth mentioning that both the ENQA General Assembly and the European Quality Assurance Forum have deadlines for contributions approaching soon and that ENQA has published two documents recently – the 2017 annual report and the final output of the ENQA working group on quality assurance and e-learning.

I am especially pleased to see a contribution this quarter from an ENQA member who has taken one of the QACHE project’s outputs, the Toolkit, and further explored how QA agencies can implement the advice contained therein.

If you have not already read ENQA’s message for May’s ministerial conference, I highly recommend you do, particularly so you can see all that we have accomplished since 2015. Collaboration is a key feature of our association, and so it will continue – and now with two additional members from Latvia and the Netherlands.

Finally, I would like to thank you for re-subscribing to ENQA’s newsletter following the roll out of our new GDPR-compliant privacy policy. Happy reading!

Sincerely,

Christoph Grolimund
President of ENQA
