Good Morning!

Many people often wonder about the difference between “gifted” and “bright" and if given the option, most would probably want their child to be the former. It's important to understand that being bright is nothing to frown upon. In fact, while it’s great to have a gifted level IQ score, giftedness is sometimes accompanied by other, unexpected struggles.

But not to worry, regardless of where your child falls on the intelligence spectrum, there’s nothing to fear!

Rice Psychology Group can help you identify the difference between bright and gifted while allowing you to better understand what it all means for you and your child. We can work with your child to test his/her functioning across areas such as intelligence, academic abilities, cognitive processing and memory.

In this week's blog post, "Gifted or Bright: Can You Spot the Difference?', we discuss the differences between being bright and gifted.

All my best...
