Since my last edition, I have been meeting constituents on street surgeries all around the constituency and spending time with my work experience group. Parliament is currently on recess and returns on 4th September.

Here are a few of the events and engagements I have taken part in recently:

NHS 70th Birthday

I celebrated 70 years of The NHS along with colleagues from the APPG for Indian Traditional Sciences. therapies of Indian Traditional Sciences like Ayurveda and Yoga can be extremely useful and can relieve pressure on our NHS.

All-Party Parliamentary Group on Cancer

The All Party Parliamentary Group on Cancer had an event in Parliament to mark the success of the APPG and wider cancer community. I am a supporter of several cancer charities and groups and was pleased to attend the event to help campaign for the improvement of cancer survival rates.

Visit from President of Taiwanese Legislature

Following my visit to Taiwan with the British Taiwanese All-Party Parliamentary Group in September 2017, I met a Taiwanese delegation in Parliament including Su Chia-chyuan, President of The Legislative Yuan of Taiwan.

Autistica App Launch

I joined autistic campaigners and charities to celebrate the launch of the Molehill Mountain app. The app helps autistic adults manage their anxiety thanks to research from King’s College London and Autistica, the UK’s autism research charity.

Hopefully, many people in Harrow will find it helpful.
