Farm update and tour info!

Since we're already halfway through the year, we thought it would be a good time to send out some farm news! Despite the dreary, cold start to the year, the season has really turned around. The pastures have been growing great and it's some of the best grass we've seen at the farm!

The tomatoes are ripening and the summer bounty is rolling in! We have our fingers crossed for a great yield for some new veggies we are trying out this year. If all goes well we'll soon have celery, tomatillos and shallots! We're quite excited!

On the egg front, we've worked pretty hard the past few years on developing efficiencies while still maintaining what we think is important and makes our eggs stand out. As a result, we are getting great yields and are able to lower our egg prices! Our retail pastured, organic and soy free eggs are now $6.50/dz, and our subscribers are now paying $6.00/dz!

We will be hosting a farm tour and lunch on Saturday, June 28th from 12-2 pm. Steve will guide guests through the farm and discuss how each piece works together in a sustainable, agricultural model.  This is a great opportunity to learn about what we do and why (and of course meet some cute animals). We will be serving grass-fed burgers and a salad from our gardens after the tour. Tickets are available through Eventbrite below. We hope you can make it!

We are still taking orders for many of our products and have lots of individual items available at the farm store! Feel free to email us with any questions! We hope to see you soon!
