The Albuquerque Zen Center, 'a quiet place in a noisy world', has offered secular community meditation since 1989. We rely solely on volunteers and donations to maintain our facilities and grounds. This project will be built by Center members and those who visit from the community.
The Outdoor Meditation Tholus with provide a place for silent meditation throughout the week regardless of personal faith or belief, nurturing meditative peace for the individual and society. It will be a place where ordinary people, leading ordinary lives, will find respite and nourishment in the extraordinary silence that is our common origin.
