A CROWDFUNDING EVENING TO SUPPORT 4 SOCIAL ART PROJECTS
|
|
Local Soup is a monthly event inspired from the weekly event "SOUP" in Detroit city, where the community is invited to use participative democracy to create their city. People contribute a minimum of 5$ to obtain a soup, a salad, some bread and a vote. Four local initiatives are presented ranging from social entrepreneurship, social justice, art, education, technology, and more. A discussion and vote follows. The winning project is awarded the collected money.
THIS MONTH: Soup local is co-organised in collaboration with ASA to help the growth of social art projects in Montreal. On the menu there's : a project to empower participatory democracy, a social art project that adresses a local environmental issue, a semantic sense making project that empowers learning through play and a participatory musical practice to help cultivate presence and peace!
Don't miss it!
This event will take place on
25th of July - 17:30 to 19:30
Pop Up Lab Desjardins
4128 Rue St- Denis, Montreal

AN EVENING OF INFORMATION SHARING TO EMPOWER SOCIAL ART SUCCESS STORIES
Come contribute to a great sharing of information to empower the success of our social art activities.
From our intervention techniques, to our entrepreneurial practices, and even our self-care at work - everything will be shared!
Between 5 to 7 project leaders will have 2 hours to harvest the collective intelligence and answer their biggest questions by tapping into the wealth of our shared knowledge.
The project leaders will have Metacollab Montréal's guidance on how to best tap into this shared wealth and the entire harvest will be made available to the group to enrich everyone’s practice!
The end result is a huge collection of valuable information there for everyone to take home, hopefully helping almost all of us to increase the social impact of our work!
Come and join us on
August 8, 2018
from 18:30 to 20:30
AT Desjardins Pop Up Lab
4128 St Denis Street, Montreal
