Movie Night

We will have another movie night on July 20th. At 6 pm we will watch "The Good Lie" which tells the story of some of The Lost Boys of Sudan, the name given to over 40,000 boys who fled the 1997-2005 civil war there that killed over 2.5 million. Pizza, Popcorn and other snacks / drinks will be served!
Text Updates & Reminders (CORRECTION)
The initial announcement of this new system had an error. Pastor Tim apologizes for that and asks you to try again with the corrected codes. 
 
To help get timely news from First Lutheran and reminders of events and activities, we will begin using a text message service called "Remind". We have used this very effectively with KOK families to let them know what is happening at the preschool and remind them of events and deadlines. Examples of items we would send would be reminders of the potluck on July 15th or the movie night on the 20th. 

To sign up, you text @flc78666 to 81010.  It will reply and confirm that you are now on the list. The texts will come from a phone number you won't recognize but should all begin with "FLC Congregational Reminders". We don't know how often we will be sending items. It does use your allotted text messages if you are on a limited plan but we will not be sending daily alerts to this list.

If you are signed up succesfully you should have gotten a text about the potluck last Sunday, and a text Tuesday evening about the movie night. If you need help, Pastor Tim can help you sign up on Sunday morning.
