Headteacher's message...

Assalaamu alaykum,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, parents and pupils for their contributions to Lady Aisha. Please make dua for us, that the school goes from strength to strength and forgive any of our shortcomings. I hope you all have an enjoyable, restful break and that Allah SWT encompasses us all in His mercy. Ameen.

The break down of the sports day winners are:

Relay Race: House Khadijah (1)

Lady of the Match: Mariam Javid (Year 10)
Best Captain Award: Jalwa Begum (Year 10)
Best Sports Personality of the year: Zainab Choudhury (Year 9)
End of Year Awards

The school house which won this year was House Khadijah. Well done! As a treat, the students went to Flip Out Trampoline Park in East Ham.

End of Year Trip to Southend-on-Sea and Adventure Island

On Monday 16th July 2018, Lady Aisha Academy went on an end-of-year trip to Southend beach and Adventure Island. The students (and teachers!) had a wonderful time and really enjoyed themselves!
Farewell and Thank You
We say a sad farewell to Ms Choudhury our Maths teacher, Ms Amin our RE teacher and Ms Aima our TA, who are leaving this year and are insha'Allah moving on to better and brighter things. You have been invaluable to us and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Ms Nusheen our Science teacher is also going on maternity leave, and we pray that she has a swift and easily delivery and a wonderful, healthy child. Aameen.

And they lost! Commiserations to year 8 and well done to Year 7!
Project Week

Our wonderfully talented Year 8s have created some amazing projects this week. For Mathematics, they held a bake sale (with items they baked themselves!), which helped them to strengthen their money handling skills and financial awareness skills. In Art they studied different Art movements and then put up their easels and created their own pieces inspired by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Van Gogh. Below are a couple of collages of the wonderful things they created.
