Devotion

Marcus and I have a dear friend, Layton, who is alive because of the generosity of organ donors. When he was 15, Layton was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. He received his first kidney when he was 28. Seventeen years later this kidney failed and in 2016 he received his second kidney and life anew. Layton, who lives in Hawaii Kai, is also a musician. He recently completed a CD project with his band, “Paradise Creek Band.”

On Saturday, July 28, from 5-10 pm at the Lighthouse Restaurant at Hawaii Kai Golf Course, Layton is hosting a CD Release Party. Part of the festivities is ORGAN DONOR REGISTRATION. If you aren’t participating in this opportunity to donate your organs, this would be the perfect time to sign up.

Tickets for the Party are $25, and include pupu, drink, cd, and live music.
If you are interested contact me @ 808 291.4485 for more information.

Layton is alive and making music because of the generosity of organ donors. Being a donor is a way to continue to be a blessing to others even when we have passed.

Thanks be to God! See you in worship—
