Food for CAP Clients
When we visit clients who have requested help to break the cycle of debt, we often find that they (and their families) are going hungry. For example, one lady we are currently supporting has had her leave to remain put on hold for 12 months and has little access to public funds. So providing food is the least we can do for her and her 11 year old daughter.
We provide emergency food for those in crises, but stocks are running low. You can provide food through either the small red box available on Sunday's at Sidney Stringer, or into the big green bin in the garage at Mill Street. We will sort it and get it to a good home. A little can make a big difference.
Soup, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, tinned meat / fish / vegetables / fruit, tea/coffee, toiletries, feminine products – sanitary towels and tampons, especially needed. But no baked beans please!!
Thanks you so much
