This Week...
This Sunday we are concluding our series on the book of Acts. Pauline Bagg will be preaching on Reaching the Unreached.

Sunday 29th will be our last Gathering at Sidney Stringer Academy, CV1 5LY (10:15am to 12:30pm) until September. We start with fresh filter coffee, pastries and fruit, served from 10:15am. This is a great time to meet new people and share what's going on in life.

We will be back at Sidney Stringer (in the cafe) on the 9th of September. N.B. we will be blessing our neighbours at the Godiva Festival on the 2nd Sept.

From our Pastors...
We are moving forward as a church family. Listen to the recent Vision talk [here]. Church is never meant to stay still. To stay still is to become stagnant. In this season we are trusting in God's Spirit as He leads us forward into what he is calling all of us to be a part of.

This is why we have been exploring the book of Acts. We seek to be people who are empowered for mission. Empowered by the Holy Spirit. We want to be a people who discern what the Father is doing and then have the courage to follow Jesus in building for His Kingdom. Details of the changes ahead can be found on the website as we move out into the neighbourhoods of Coventry and beyond.

We pray that you have a refreshing Summer and experience the presence of God in your daily life wherever you are.
-Nick & Vicki

Food for CAP Clients

When we visit clients who have requested help to break the cycle of debt, we often find that they (and their families) are going hungry. For example, one lady we are currently supporting has had her leave to remain put on hold for 12 months and has little access to public funds.  So providing food is the least we can do for her and her 11 year old daughter.

We provide emergency food for those in crises, but stocks are running low. You can provide food through either the small red box available on Sunday's at Sidney Stringer, or into the big green bin in the garage at Mill Street.  We will sort it and get it to a good home.  A little can make a big difference.

Soup, pasta, rice, pasta sauce, tinned meat / fish / vegetables / fruit, tea/coffee, toiletriesfeminine products – sanitary towels and tampons, especially needed. But no baked beans please!!

Thanks you so much

Ian and the rest of the CAP team
