Pinnacol provides a library of resources to help our customers keep workers safe, but it’s up to you to implement these strategies. We’re excited when we hear stories about Colorado companies doing just that, committing to the safety practices that bring their employees home every night.

We are proud to announce we recently awarded grants to nine Colorado nonprofit organizations. The grantees — which span the state — received a total of $137,000.

Pinnacol Assurance awards grants to nonprofit organizations that align closely with our three community investment pillars:

1. Rehabilitative health services: Pinnacol strives to help workers heal from physical injuries or live with ongoing disabilities.
2. Employee safety and health: We support employers and organizations that improve employee safety and health in the workplace.
3. Economic vitality and workforce development: Our grants help develop a good business climate and a skilled, credentialed workforce in Colorado, particularly for industries and regions facing worker shortages.
