An Interdisciplinary Approach to Water Management
According to the World Health Organization, half of the world’s population will be living in water-stressed areas by 2025. Managing our water resources is vital, especially in a changing climate. An interdisciplinary team from Kansas State University, led by Marcellus Caldas, Ph.D., and Melinda Daniels, Ph.D., from Stroud Water Research Center, seeks to understand how human-environment interactions and climate change affect water management and sustainability on the Central Great Plains of the United States.
