Hello Dear Friends,
     I hope you are all staying cool and comfortable as these hot July days fly by.
     Ministry at River Valley Christian Life Corps continues.  We are celebrating over a salvation experience for one of our participants.  It will be a glorious journey as we all get to share her new beginning.
     We continue to stay connected to the Adult Ed. Center.  We have two new participants from there and we are happy to encourage them as they strive to reach their goals.
      This month we were able to share mission opportunities to youth that visited our site during the week of “World Changers.”  There were teams from Mississippi and Texas.  There was sixty people total.   Seeds were planted about how God might use them in their future.
      Upcoming events for August includes:                                                                                        

• Leader’s Retreat and Training in Shocco, AL. August 1^st-3^rd. Our office will be closed Thursday August 2^nd.  Please pray for safe travel for our leaders
•  Mentor Training will be Thursday August 9^th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  This would be a wonderful opportunity for anyone who is interested in serving God in this ministry.  One hour a week is all that is required.
• We will be hosting a Parenting Class, Thursday, August 30^th.  We are very blessed to have David Bourne MS LPC-S to facilitate this class.  If you know anyone that would benefit from this instruction, please feel free to share this information with them.
• Please keep RVCLC in your prayers as we desire to serve Him in our community.
