The New Zealand Swimming Alumni raise funds to provide grants and scholarships for swimmers to help them achieve their swimming dreams. The Legends Relay is one of those fundraisers, it was great to see many of our past NZ representatives take to the pool at the Aon NZ Opens for a great initiative.
SNZ have announced the following athletes who have successfully achieved selection standards for the Pan Pacific Champs and Junior Pan Pacific Champs. Four athletes will also be nominated to the NZOC for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
The New Zealand representative team to the 12th Oceania Swimming Championships in Fiji collected 50 medals (21 Gold, 16 Silver, 13 Bronze), across four days of action packed swimming.
Congratulations to Jonathan Rutter who was named male swimmer of the championships.
Become a qualified swim teacher with Swimming New Zealand's nationally recognised training programmes developed to train people for teaching swimming and personal survival.
Courses take place across the country and we have a number of placements available now.
