- Two new feature stories highlight inspiring GLOBE teachers and students that have presented at the SRS:
- Full STE(A)M ahead in LA: Maria Mancia mixes English and Spanish Language Arts into GLOBE. Read this story about how one teacher uses GLOBE to collaborate with math, English, and Spanish teachers in her school, and about her trip with a team of students to present at the 2017 Pacific SRS.
- For GLOBE teacher Diana Johns, every day is Earth Day. - Share with your rising high school seniors: The Regeneron Science Talent Search 2019 application is now open. Encourage them to share their awesome research to be considered for awards (including the first place award of $250,000!). Learn more and apply here.
- AGU Data Visualization and Storytelling Competition—Applications Now Open! Funded by NASA, the Data Visualization and Storytelling Competition encourages students to develop innovative and engaging ways to present data. Grand prize winners will receive generous travel grants and the opportunity to present their data visualization on the NASA Hyperwall at the 2018 Fall Meeting. Submission deadline: 31 August 2018.
- GLOBE Evaluation Working Group Webinar. This webinar was created by the members of the 2018 GLOBE Evaluation Working Group to describe what the group does and provide some examples of their work.
