Posted by Keturah Hetrick on July 16, 2018 An aide to Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Texas) has powered back to the energy-policy world, this time for a Midwest utility-holding company. Ariel Wann joins Xcel Energy this month as manager of federal government affairs. She most recently served as Thornberry's operations director and legislative assistant handling his energy, environment and tax portfolios. Before coming to the Hill, Wann did government affairs work at the Edison Electric Institute, which represents the country's investor-owned electric companies.
