The NYC Council FY2019 budget for the "Viral Hepatitis Initiative" was released in June. The FY19 Transparency Resolution (page 57) released in August, allocated $500,000 of the $1,923,658 outlined in the FY2019 budget. The Viral Hepatitis Initiative supports the Check Hep B and Check Hep C Patient Navigation Programs, Hep C Peer Navigation Program at all NYC Syringe Exchange Programs, and the Empire Liver Foundation Clinical Training Program.
