NVS Surfers App Release
The new NVS Surfers App was designed using input directly from the surfing community, thanks to the Surfrider Foundation, a NANOOS member. The app offers data and tools needed to plan a safe and successful surf experience, including:
  • Webcam views
  • NOAA tide tables
  • Surfrider water quality data
  • Current sea and weather conditions
  • Wave, wind and tidal forecasts
Check it out on NVS before your next trip, and as always please send feedback via the Contact Us page.

Based on user input from the Oregon Coast Conservancy and the Washington State Parks, NANOOS has updated the NVS Beach View app to include not only current conditions but also forecasts of wind, waves, and air temperature and water temperature

This app is suited for any beachcomber and has links to beach closures throughout the NANOOS region, including Vancouver Island, Canada.
