AMAR's permanent foster Pez, (originally named Jamie), needs to have one of her kidneys removed. She's in end stage hydronephrosis, which is when a kidney swells due to urine failing to properly drain from the kidney to the bladder. Her left kidney isn't working at all and she needs it removed. If left in, it can cause abdominal pain or infection in the future. Pez came to the vet with vomiting and diarrhea and an ultrasound revealed this issue.
