Please join us for our very first Novel Night on September 1st, 2018 from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM inside the Longview Public Library's Junior League of Longview Rotunda! Doors will open at 7:00 PM. This year, we are transporting you to a tropical paradise and stopping in Margaritaland for a special Murder Mystery event! While solving the Margaritaland mystery, you will be treated to Ray's Island Sounds as he plays the steel drums, and will be entertained by the Grace Hula Dance and Fire Company outside on our Eastman Plaza! We will have heavy hors d'oeuvres, margaritas (of course), beer, and wine! Tickets are available for purchase online and at the Longview Public Library! Come to the Library on August 2nd - 4th for our next Friends of the Longview Public Library Book Sale! Hours will be 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Thursday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Friday, and 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday. Prices are $0.25 for children's books and paperbacks, and $1.00 for everything else! We are taking FREE back-to-school pictures for homeschool families inside the Library on Wednesday, August 15th from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM! Attendees will receive a free 4x6 photo, and digital copies of the photos, via e-mail, after the event. For more info, please call (903) 237-1345!

We're pleased to announce a new weekly program for kids beginning in September: Music and Movement! Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers join us for early exposure to music. We we will have fun singing, dancing, listening to a story, and interacting with instruments! Program lasts about 30 minutes. Mondays at 10:30 AM. For more information, please call (903) 237-1345!
