... in a fog. I was not clear on what I wanted to do, whether I wanted to continue to offer coaching to clients and teach personal growth classes or not. Working a part time "regular" job and trying to keep building my coaching practice at the same time, it all felt very exhausting but I couldn't seem to stop doing the work that gives me so much pleasure.
For months I had a lot of stress, trying to balance the demands on my time and energy from doing two types of work. This led to severe neck pain that no amount of tapping, distant healing, chiropractic or osteopathy would help. My neck hurt so much that I was self-medicating with muscle relaxants (NOT my style) just to be able to sleep.
I realized that something had to change, so I followed Dr. Lissa Rankin's advice from "Mind Over Medicine", and I wrote myself a prescription. I decided that if I had to quit something to get my health back, it was NOT going to be the job I loved.
And so I quit my "day job"!!
