Let's make it happen

Hello, Is it time for you to visit Iceland?

Iceland is a country full of spectacular scenery and whimsical character, but the Nordic nation has only recently entered the global travel consciousness.

Today, Iceland is enjoying an Instagram-fuelled, aurora-seeking tourist boom. Demand is so strong, especially in mid-summer, it's mandatory to pre-book your soak at the Blue Lagoon, the iconic spa attraction of milky-blue geothermal waters in a black lava field – and unless you go late or early, you'll be sharing that experience with loads of others. Accommodation options are slim in the peak season and getting that 'selfie' alone can be challenging.

However, touch down in Iceland with us and let us steer you to the other direction, away from the crowds... Be inspired by our new range of tours and self-drive options, designed to do just that. Also, timing can make a big difference: Why not try the less busy months of September, October, February, or March and experience the Northern Lights while in Iceland?

Take a journey into the Western Icelandic countryside on this 10-day independent adventure. Starting in Reykjavík and ending with a soak at the Blue Lagoon, your drive gives you plenty of time to spend at many of Iceland’s must-see natural attractions, such as the Kirkjufell Mountains full of beautiful waterfalls, bubbling hot springs, and the famous “Golden Circle” route. Enjoy a private guided tour of Reykjavik, a Viking sushi adventure boat tour, and other unique experiences.

You will also have a lot of opportunities to explore the active side of Iceland: Easy glacier walks, ice caves and Silfra snorkelling.

Iceland Westfjords self-drive

Take a journey into the Icelandic countryside, self-driving the sparsely populated Westfjords region. Isolated, rugged and wind-shorn - these are qualities that easily define the Westfjords in Iceland. But this lonely peninsula also harbours the unspoilt beauty of Iceland's more secluded landmarks.    READ MORE

Northern Lights in Iceland

Most people travelling to Iceland during the winter season dream of catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights. This natural phenomenon is breathtaking in person, and many of our itineraries venture far from bright city lights, making Iceland a perfect location to see the aurora borealis.     READ MORE

Secret lodges and countryside retreats that radiate exclusivity are dotted around Iceland. You can choose to spend entire days in private hotel spas, hopping from the geothermal-heated indoor / outdoor pool to Isopod flotation tanks and outdoor Viking saunas. Love a swim-up bar? You are well catered for in Iceland’s many retreats.

The Blue Lagoon's new Retreat offers a private geothermal lagoon encircling the property, and a subterranean spa beckons with treatments such as in-water massage. But should you begin to feel waterlogged, you can join a yoga class, take a group hike, or sample delicious farm-to-table fare at the restaurant.
