In the spirit of community and camaraderie, Sonoma County Cider makers have banded together to kick off the first Sonoma County Cider Week from August 3rd - 12th.

Slow Food Russian River is eager to support this grass ("apple-tree") roots initiative!

The cider-centric celebration will be held in various locations throughout Sonoma County to showcase the extraordinary quality and diversity of ciders made in erstwhile wine country. The goal is to raise awareness and educate consumers of Sonoma County-made ciders and our county's rich apple heritage.

Horse & Plow (Sebastopol), Fri. Aug. 3, 5-8 pm

Tilted Shed (Windsor), Sat., Aug. 4, 2-5 pm

A Spanish-inspired txotx cider party!  “Catch” tastes of the 2017 Inclinado wild-fermented Gravenstein sidra straight from the barrel! Taste authentic Basque and Asturian sidras along with traditional txotx pintxos (appetizers). Practice “throwing” sidra with the traditional Spanish long pours (escanciar). More and tickets…
