Last fortnight we witnessed over 30,000 people flock to Byron Bay Parklands to experience Splendour In The Grass. Australian artists were given the opportunity to showcase their work and the lineup this year was arguably one of the best to date with national and international titles bringing waves to the music scene.
According to many who attended the event, it was an outstanding festival delivering a wide range of genres, from the indie soulful tunes of Angus and Julia Stone, to the rock tunes of Henry Rollins, as well as showcasing musicians just starting out in the industry. Let’s applaud another exceptional Australian festival delivering outstanding Contemporary music to thousands.
