This event is 100% dependent upon you and others participating.  It's one of our biggest opportunities to Light the Way in our neighborhood.

Please text or email Curt to let him know where you can help.

FRIDAY - Invite the neighborhood.

   Who:
YOU and anyone else who can walk.  Younger than 6th grade should bring a parent/guardian.  Parents and non-parents of all ages are encouraged to participate.

When:  Friday, August 3, 6:30-8:30 pm.

Where: Meet in the car port entrance of the church.

What:   Invite our guests!  And we need YOU.  We have 800 door hangers (flyers that hang on door knobs) to place on the doors in the neighborhood of the church.  The housing is pretty dense so it covers between Lee and Taylor, from Fairmount to a few streets north of the church.  Tim Persons is organizing.  Frozen treats afterward!

Why:   We've been hosting SummerFest for 13 years now, and the neighborhood really enjoys it.  They're waiting for the word that's it's happening.  And it's a GREAT opportunity for us to show that we care - to show that Jesus followers are kind AND fun.

SATURDAY AM - Set up the party.

   Who:
YOU and anyone who can walk.  Younger than 6th grade should bring a parent/guardian.  Parents and non-parents of all ages are encouraged to participate.

   When:  Saturday, August 4, 9:30 am-12:00 pm.

Where: Meet in the car port entrance of the church.

What:   SummerFest is moving locations!  All the way from the back of the church to the front lawn.  We've got to get the tables, chairs, stage, games, grills, inflatables, and canopies in place.

Why:   If the stuff isn't there and in the right place, the carnival is gonna lack some zip!  We want things in place so we can focus on being as hospitable as possible.

SATURDAY PM - Show time!

Food Truck!

Who:    YOU and anyone else who can walk.  Younger than 6th grade should bring a parent/guardian.  Parents and non-parents of all ages are encouraged to participate.

   When:  Saturday, August 4, 4:30 - 10:00 pm. (SummerFest is 5-9p).

Where: Meet on the front lawn of the church.

Why:    This is it!  When the Holy Spirit will work through your smiles and invitations to play and eat and enjoy.

What:   Host games.  Serve treats.  Paint faces.  And clean up the party.  The youth head up all the games.  We ask each youth to serve two shifts and then you can eat and play on the third.  Sign up for a spot now by emailing or texting Curt.  First-come, first served!
