Wine Tasting Tickets

Our new organic wine, craft beer + fruity cocktail bar will officially open this September. Please stay tuned - via our mailing list - for first dibs on some special opening events and offers.

We're just having our cellar and coolers installed, as well as extending our kitchen behind the bar - so look out for special snacks such as Double DD Butternut Squash Scratchings, no doubt.

The Other Room will stay closed in August while we apply our finishing touches, and then open 5 nights a week from September. More news soon. Tickets are now on sale for wine tasting evenings in the bar, with our organic and vegan wine suppliers Vinceremos - beginning with Autumn Wines on Thursday September 6th

We'll be announcing our full Sunday night line up for September next week, meanwhile, speaking of pub quizzes, there are less than 20 tickets left for the Mother of all quiz shows - Donald Trumps on September 16th, and also for Emily Barker on October 21st already.

Donald Trumps sees Chris and Simon Donald - brothers and founders of Viz - go head to head in quizzy combat with a format that re-conjures some classic 80's quiz shows, Top Trumps and Viz of course. Expect some brutal sibling rivalry - fresh from their debut at the Newcastle Comedy Store.
And while we have time to tell you about it, here's a fantastic new gig for you - and a double bill no less - this December:
