Community Arts Development Grants
through Harford County Cultural Arts Board
Go to CulturalArtsBoard.org to review updated grant guidelines for FY19 and to enter the new Grants Workspace. Deadline to submit application has been extended to 11:59 pm Tuesday August 7
Arts organizations located in Harford County may request support for day-to-day operating expenses. Primary activities of the organization must be categorized into one of the following disciplines:
folk & traditional arts
literary arts
media arts
performing arts
visual arts
Other nonprofits which are both incorporated in Maryland as not-for-profit and designated with tax exempt status from the U. S. Internal Revenue Service may receive support for direct costs of arts programming benefitting the residents and guests of Harford County, Maryland. Units of government, colleges or universities, and religious institutions are also eligible for support for arts programming benefitting the residents and guests of Harford County, Maryland.
Arts in Education Grants
Applications for FY19 Arts in Education Grants will be open soon! Arts in Education Grants may be used by schools, or other nonprofit community-based settings, to offsets costs of Maryland-based Artists in Residence or Visiting Performers for Pre-K through 12th grade audiences. New this year, contracts will not need to submitted with application, but must be submitted before funds are released.
