A monthly briefing with inspiring stories on the environment, sports and personal growth.
Hello!
A week late but it is better to ship than to skip (hat tip to Jon). This month is packed with links to articles for summer reading. I hope many of you are on your way to or just got back from a summer holiday. Nothing better than to sit down in warm weather with a calm breeze next to water or in nature. I spent a week in Bosnia this month enjoying a small part of this beautiful country with its rich history. I read the novel Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng while overthere. I enjoyed reading the book, the story has a moral and is filled with modern dilemmas. If you are looking for some reading, I definitely recommend it.

See you next month and enjoy the read! As always send me feedback or please send this issue to friends for them to subscribe. Thanks!
What I've been reading:
You only need 25% of people to create social change, according to this article. It is hard to think about but 4 environmental activists are killed every week. If you are not feeling well in the morning, you may want to have a cup of coffee later in the morning. But what happens before when we sleep, interesting National Geographic article. The power of positive people. It looks like more and more companies have corporate activism roles, Ben&Jerry's may be one of the OGs. KKR, yes the private equity firm, launched its sustainability report, they were one of the first to do so and still a good read on what an investor in this space does and can do. Morgan Stanley flags that Asset Owners embrace sustainability in this survey, is that news? NC State built a ‘Responsible’ Fund that’s outperforming its main portfolio. Perfectionist runners are more prone to get shin splints, which does not make you a perfectionist if you have shin splints though. Refurbished is the new frontier for outdoor brands. When going out with your new jacket, is wilder nature healthier? A human rights perspective on impact investing, is it a match? And as a smash out article, has environmental sustainability lost its relevance in a world that is heating up?
