When you cast your ballot in the August election, don’t be surprised to see new voting machines! They're more secure and a breeze to use.

And make sure to check out the Guide to the County General election here. It's all of the interviews and announcements from candidates running for office. It'll be continually updated through election day so you've got the most up-to-date info to cast your vote.

Early voting ends on July 28th. If you don't have time between now and then to vote, make sure to set aside time on the August 2nd Election Day! 
 
Events Happening This Weekend


Murder's in the Heir - July 26th, 27th, and 28th at 7pm
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students and are available at the outlets: Bagley & Bagley Insurance, Carter’s Drug Store and Flower House or you can call the CHP hotline at 931-433-1300 and reserve your tickets.

Candidates’ Forum & Pancake Breakfast - July 28th at 7am
This Forum will likely be the last opportunity that voters in the Petersburg area will have to meet and question the candidates.

Community Works Yoga - July 19th at 6:30pm and July 21st at 9:30am
A gentle yoga class open to all levels and ages that encourages connection, awareness, and harmony of body and breath. Hosted at 102 Elk Avenue North in Fayetteville above the community garden, this space provides the perfect place to develop your individual yoga practice with the help of  knowledgeable RYT-200 Heather Clemons.

Tater Melon Day - July 28th at 4pm
Join us for an evening with great food and fun for all ages to raise funds for the Molino Volunteer Fire Department! Bouncy houses for the kids, auction and great music. Jacob Painter starts at 5pm and Confederate Railroad starts at 7pm.
