Summer.
Hello and welcome to the Utah Beer News email update. Several new subscribers have joined up since the last message hit inboxes in late June. Thank you for subscribing!
Whew! Summer is in full swing and that means the beer (and beer news) is flowing. It seems every day a new beer-related event pops up. I recently attended three such events over the course of four days! I'm not complaining.
Aside from individual brewery events and ongoing series (such as Hops on the Hill, Blues, Brews & BBQ, and Hops Hunters Hikes), a couple annual events are on the docket for August. The Food Truck & Brewery Battle happens Aug. 4 at The Gateway. And then, of course, there's the two-day Utah Beer Festival — featuring 50+ breweries and 200+ beers — that takes place at the Utah State Fairpark Aug. 18-19.
I hope to see you at an upcoming event!

Since Utah Beer News is still relatively new (two months strong!) to a lot of folks, here's a quick note about me (if you read this last time, feel free to scroll to the good stuff).
My name is Tim Haran. I started UtahBeerNews.com in late April 2018, though the official launch came in mid-May. My background is in journalism and social media (read my full bio). My hope is that the site will become a place to not only provide the latest Utah craft beer news, but also a spot to read (and hear and view) compelling stories centered on the craft beer community.
And now here's a look at what's happening at Utah Beer News...
