SAN BERNARDINO, CA, JUNE 17, 2018
That was the mantra in the classic film Field of Dreams, and this not only works for baseball but in motorcycle racing, as they surely came in for the third round of the 2018 TT Scrambles Championship Series.
 We will call this a “Father’s Day Blast” at the world-famous Glen Helen Raceway’s Lucas Oil Pavilion. There was an increase of ridership, with three series going on within this series: The Reign VMX Masters of Mini Series, Bonfire Racing Quad Series, and the Sidecar series. Can we cover all of it within this portfolio? Well, we are going to share with you some of the highlights. A taste of just one includes the racing between two National Champions from different types of motorcycle racing from the early 1970s. We’re talking about the 1972 National Minicycle Champion, the fast, fierce and wildly charismatic Bobby Tocco, vs. the 1972 National Motocross Champion, the phenomenal Gary Jones.
