Dear <<First Name>>

This letter's a little later in July than intended, but it's literally been TOO HOT to even type, of late, as you know, and my heat-addled brain was not capable of stringing a single, coherent sentence together. Likely you wouldn't notice the difference, but anyway, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

It's been another very busy month. Several of our free courses finished up this past week and here are some lovely photos from them to show you the kinds of things people have been getting up to.  We've had some excellent feedback from activities so far, and there will be a full report on them all in due course, but we'll get the summer holidays out of the way first. Listed below you'll also find details of the second lot of courses, carrying on throughout August, and the new ones starting in September.

The other thing to say is that we've had some activity in the actual library itself. Octavia say that they have finished the internal repairs and that we're now just waiting on leases to be sorted out. We've been here before though, so we're not counting our chickens just yet. If you feel like encouraging Octavia to keep going, and you're on Twitter, you can tell them - their handle is @Octavia_Housing.

Right, I'm off to stare at the sea from a field in Dorset. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Cheers.

Wendy

Building Update

Sorry, no building update, just a nice picture of a groundhog, because that's the kind of territory we're in. See above.
