Blood Drive -- Our next blood drive is August 3, 2018 at the Liberty Grove United Methodist Church in Burtonsville from 2:30 to 8 p.m.. Contact Bill Austin at oakchapel@aol.com to schedule an appointment. Last blood drive we collected 34 pints. In summer there is always a critical need for blood. Save a life - donate.

Ice Cream at the Fair -- Lions will be scooping ice cream every day of the Montgomery County Fair again this year. The Fair is from Friday August 11 - Saturday August 19, 2018 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. You can find the Lions in the Ice Cream Barn next to Old McDonald's Farm. Burtonsville Lions usually scoop on the Thursday of the Fair. But any day you can make supports all the Lions clubs in Montgomery County who participate.
