Toowong Jam Date Change For AUGUST 2018 Only!

Just for August the jam will be on Wednesday 15 August. Toowong Bowls Club has booked the room for another function on our usual day, so Sue and Peter have kindly agreed to host the jam the following week. We will be back to the second Wednesday, 12 September, next month as usual.

It's the EKKA Show holiday but if you'd rather be playing uke come along and bring a uke curious friend!

WE BUMS is BACK!

We've missed our Friday night Jam at West End. The renovations at Hope Street Cafe are finished and WE BUMS returns to every second Friday night of the month- August 10. The cherry on top is Geoff and 'Cesca are back with songs of Love & Understanding. More details

Bony Mountain Folk Festival

Norma O’Hara Murphy, the Coordinator of Bony Mountain Folk Festival, has invited all BUMS to their eighth festival 14, 15 & 16 SEPTEMBER 2018. Norma promises a fabulously full weekend featuring some of Australia's finest folk performers.
The main weekend is dedicated to paying tribute to Slim Dusty. Daughter Anne Kirkpatrick, Dianne Lindsay (Slims niece) and Bony Mountain are featuring a big Slim Dusty Exhibition and also unveiling a Memorial Sandstone to honour the man & his music!

BUMS Inc Annual General Meeting

A reminder that the AGM is on Tuesday 14 August at Coorparoo RSL. Nibbles and drinks at 6:30pm before the meeting at 7:00pm.
