Celebrating Changemakers: October 11, 2018, 4-6 p.m. McNamara Alumni Center
Save the date for our annual Celebrating Changemakers Awards and Recognition Program! The Celebrating Changemakers program is held each fall to honor the recipients of Women’s Center-affiliated awards, grants and scholarships. Join us on October 11 for a dessert reception beginning at 4 p.m., and a short program and presentation of awards begins at 4:30 p.m.

Lactation Space in Andersen Library


The updated lactation room in Andersen Library is now open! This space wouldn't have been possible without the work and dedication of the ad hoc group who came together to make it happen (with some support from a Gender Equity Grant from the Women's Center)!

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is looking for students interested in applying for its Access Assistant position. For the full job description, visit the U of M employment site, click on "Students" and search for Job Code #324922. Applications will be open until September 10.

The Center on Women, Gender, and Public Policy is hosting the Gender and Intersectional Network Series (GAINS). GAINS is a half-credit course (PA 5690) called focused on gender and leadership, and aimed at graduate students at U of M professional schools. For more details, see the PDF.

The 13th Annual Women's Health Research Conference takes place on October 1; registration is open until September 20. Learn more online and/or download the PDF


Ananya Dance Theatre will premiere "Shaatranga: Women Weaving Worlds," the fifth and capstone iteration of its five-year series, Work Women Do, as part of the Women of Substance series at The O'Shaughnessay at St. Catherine University. (September 22)
