LIVE YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

There will be 3 sessions available to get your training done in person at the Scout Service Center.

School Week is the time packs recruit new Cub Scouts in the schools.  Watch for the fliers coming home from school.  Scouts wear your uniform on the day of Sign Up Night!

WILDERNESS FIRST AID
SEPTEMBER 15 

This course covers skills and information leaders who bring youth to areas where immediate First Aid is not readily available.  Required for all National High Adventure courses and for unit level back country treks and adventures.  Highly recommended for all leaders working with you.

What better way to spend the weekend than Scouting.  Camporees may offer fishing, dessert competitions, canoeing, skits, hikes, and not to forget the campfire.   You may just catch the Scouting Spirit! 

WEBELOS ACTION CAMP

WAC is a face paced adventure for Webelos Scouts and Arrow of Light Scouts that includes working on advancement while having fun.

LION & TIGER SAFARI
OCTOBER 13-14

This Scout and parent event is open to Lions and Tigers across the council.  Enjoy camp cooking, shooting sports, hiking, crafts and more at Northern Tier Canoe Base in Ely, MN.

LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPLORING CONFERENCE
OCTOBER 19-20

Law Enforcement Explorers teams test their skills and knowledge in ten different events and participate in realistic scenarios. This conference is ideal for experienced teams as well as teams that are just beginning. 

SCOUTING FOR FOOD
OCTOBER 27

In the Scout Oath, a Scout promises to help other people at all times.  By participating in Scouting for Food, Scouts come a step closer to fulfilling those words.  More info coming soon.

WORLD JAMBOREE
JULY 22 - AUGUST 2, 2019 

The World Scout Jamboree is the largest camping event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, gathering as many as 50,000 Scouts and leaders from 169 National Scout Organizations. The theme for the 24th World Scout Jamboree is "Unlock a New World". This reflects the new adventures, cultures and friendships that will be shared by Scouts from around the world. We hope you can join us!
