We need all new AND returning volunteers to submit a new background check for the 2018-19 school year and come on Sept. 13th or 18th for an Orientation/Refresher from 5-6:30pm at Ibarra.

As you know, one of our main goals is to provide our students with consistent tutors, who can pick up where they left off each week. We are blessed with a very large bank of extraordinary tutors who come regularly on Tuesday and/or Thursday nights. 

In order to allow all of you to keep up your great work, we need you to complete two assignments ASAP:

1) Fill out a new background check here for this school year.

While we know it is annoying, we must have all volunteers do it so we can keep our kids safe. Please take a minute to do it now, as it has been taking anywhere from a couple of days to a month to clear. It will just take a few minutes. 

If you are a new tutor, you can first attend a New Tutor Orientation and then if you decide to tutor with us, you can follow these steps (background check is one of the items). 

2) RSVP for an Orientation/Refresher Night on Sept. 13th or Sept. 18th

We will either teach you how our program works or update you on our changes, depending on if you have ever tutored with us before. All returning tutors will then help us get our classrooms ready since tutoring starts Sept. 25th! Please RSVP today!
