Ben Cooper appointed as the new CEO of Bluearth Foundation and Physical Activity Australia

This month, the Bluearth Foundation farewells their incredible CEO Wendy Gillet, who is stepping down after more than five fabulous years leading the organisation. Wendy who will remain connected with Bluearth leaves the organisation in a strong position to continue to grow.

We are proud to announce that Ben Cooper will be taking on the role of CEO, commencing August 15, 2018. Ben’s experience in the not-for-profit space, education, media and fitness, together with his passion and dedication as the General Manager for PAA and Bluearth National Relationships,  has equipped him with the skills and drive to embark upon this exciting new position. Congratulations Ben!

The difference between working in your business and working on your business – tips on how you can thrive as a fitness professional

As a self-employed fitness professional you wear many hats. You run the whole show including training clients, managing invoices, marketing bookkeeping and everything in between. YOU are your business and YOU make the money. Simply put, if you do not work in your business you don’t earn money.

Although your day to day activities keep you more than busy, sometimes it is time to work ON your business instead of IN your business. If you never take the time to work on your business, then your business will never function at maximum capacity and you may be missing out on revenue and other opportunities.

Working on your business involves focusing on strategic planning, new opportunities and expanding your business and your revenue.

Position Available - Trainer with Pilates/Yoga Background 
 
Step into Life St Kilda is seeking a registered group outdoor personal trainer for our “Powerflex” sessions.  This pilates/yoga based program would be suited for a trainer with an outgoing, motivating personality and the ability to train and connect with members of all ages and fitness levels.

Chocolate Fun Bites by The Healthy Mummy
INGREDIENTS
  • 130 grams dark chocolate melted
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1 cup puffed rice
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • 1/4 shredded coconut toasted
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Melt chocolate and coconut oil together, then add to remaining ingredients.
  2. Divide mixture between 14 silicon mini muffin trays and freeze til set.
  3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.
