Have you heard the exciting news?!
I'm so proud to finally debut my new website: www.asphaltcanvascustomart.com. The addition of a professional website to my business was a goal I had worked towards, for quite some time. Through a Georgetown, Texas, chamber event, I met Ken with Website Mojo! Ken was an absolute gem to work with. He took the ideas I had drawn out by hand in my sketchbook, and turned them into a timeless, clean, and useful website that I believe showcases my work, and portrays my personality perfectly.
The portion I am the most excited about is the option my clients now have to order custom art straight through a specially designed form on my website. Just click through to the contact page on my website, and check the box "I'd like to request a custom piece of art", and then hit "submit"! This will take you to a form that will ask detailed questions about your artwork ideas, such as size, timeline, image, and medium. Once you're through, the form will be sent directly to me! I strongly believe this will streamline the opportunity to have custom art created for both the client and myself. I'm looking forward to utilizing such an awesome new tool.
Who took your pictures you ask? A new friend, talented photographer, and super mom, Stefanie, with Stefanie Thomas Photography. There is such an energy when two creative souls collaborate! We had a blast trading work and getting to know each other. I look forward to working with her again and growing a new friendship.

"Rock Me Right":
Creating the Final Illustrations!
I've had a blast with those following along with me as I design each of the unique characters for Rock Me Right. I've truly appreciated all your insight and ideas for some of these funky characters. If you want a peek behind the scenes of the artwork and illustrations in progress, I've attached my social media links below.
UPDATE: I have completed all the line drawings for each page and character of Rock Me Right. Now, I'll begin adding color and ink! I plan to have ALL the illustrations completed towards the end of August! The book is really starting to come together, and I'm so excited to see my art and Erin's words published!

Art Giveaway:
A Custom Wedding Portrait for a Military Family

I volunteered to be apart of this HUGE giveaway, hosted by a new wedding venue in the Hill Country of Texas called, The Ivory Oak. They will be giving away and entirely FREE wedding day package to a deserving military couple this September in honor of their grand opening! This wedding package includes professional photographers, DJs, bakeries, decor, and many more high-end wedding vendors in the Central Texas area. I am so excited to be able to offer a custom pencil portrait with a personalized mat and frame for the chosen couple.
It's a joyful opportunity for me to have the ability to give back to a deserving military family through my art.
