Letter from the Western Region Chief
Hey there Section W-1S,
I am very much looking forward to attending Conclave in just a few short weeks. I can still remember my first Conclave — it was amazing seeing so many Arrowmen from across three states. It was the first time I truly realized there is something bigger to our Order. This year is shaping up to be no different.
In September, right after I was elected Section Chief, I went to work planning Conclave; but then at the end of December I was given the opportunity to serve as the Western Region Chief. Christopher McCracken then took over planning and has been doing a fantastic job. One cool thing about this Conclave is that I will get to introduce all of you to three guys who have become some of my best friends this year. This year at Conclave we will have the National Chief, Northeast Region Chief, Southern Region Chief, and myself in attendance.
Not only will you get to meet these super awesome guys, there will also be wonderful food. During afternoon activities there is talk of popcorn and ice cream being served, and maybe a few other goodies for new Arrowmen. Now while I love a great snack as much as the next guy, during Saturday afternoon activities the climbing wall and certain COPE elements will be open as well for some activities with your snacking.
