Spreading Out and Scaling Up: Georgia’s Strategic Approach to Implementing High-Leverage Practices Through Multi-Tiered System of Supports

The Georgia team, established in partnership with the CEEDAR Center, is strategically using structures within the state to spread High-Leverage Practices (HLPs) to pre- and in-service professionals. At the same time, the state is revamping multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) for service delivery to meet the needs of each student. Presenters will share the impetus for the undertaking and their plans for spreading out and scaling up across the state.

Specifically, they will explain:

• How engagement with the CEEDAR Center aligns with statewide plans and initiatives
• The state-specific structures for spreading out and scaling up
• The overall plan for implementation
• How they are tapping into expertise within the state
