Welcome to the new school year at Sagamore Hills Elementary School!

For those returning, welcome back, and for those new to the Sagamore Hills school community, we are so glad you're here! I know you are going to love being a part of a vibrant school community.

I look forward to meeting new parents at our New Parent Coffee on the 17th and seeing everyone the evening of August 30th for Curriculum Night.

Calendar for new school year

Staff Luncheon

Last Friday the PTA, Ms. Taylor and Sagamore Families treated the Sagamore Hills Elementary Staff to a luncheon to kick off the new school year! Thank you to all the parents who brought food and volunteered to help!

Are you a new parent at Sagamore?

Please come out and meet other new parents, talk to Principal Taylor and some of your PTA at the New Parent Coffee on Friday August 17th at 7:45 in the media center! Its a great way to learn about our school, find out about upcoming events and get any questions you may have answered! We look forward to meeting you!

The PTA sponsored school store offers basic school supplies and small (school appropriate) toys to students who have saved their pennies.

The store is located at the west end of the north hall (where the older-kid hall meets the cafeteria). The school store will be open Thursday mornings 7:20 – 7:40 for your shopping pleasure starting August 16th!

Sagamore parent, Debbie Malone, makes it happen. Thank you Debbie!

Kicking off the new year!

Hope everyone who came out to the playdate this weekend had fun and enjoyed the preview of the new playground that will be coming this fall! We are so excited! Thanks to Dekalb County and to Sagamore Foundation!

Sagamore Parent Cheri Flake, LCSW, the Stress Therapist will host a free weekly seminar focusing on reducing stress and mental wellness for parents. This is a 4 week seminar starting Tuesday August 21st from 7-8 pm. See Here for more information!
