Freediving Charter to Mahi wreck

August 11th at noon on the South Sea II, Waianae Small Boat Harbor

Freedivers!  We will be taking the boat to the Mahi Wreck.  This is most suitable for freedivers that have some experience.  The wreck is at approximately 85ft.  However, you can often see the wreck from the surface and the highest parts of the wreck come up to almost 50ft, so it should be enjoyable for everyone.  James McNeil, PADI Freediving Instructor, will be on board for tips and tricks.  This is not a course however.  If you are interested in Freediving Training, we run a two day course on Friday evening and Saturday.  Call 397-5370 to inquire about a freediving course or book a trip.

This trip is only $40.  Bring all your own free diving equipment.

Pelagic Night Dives

Pelagic Night Dives are a resounding success!
*UPDATE, spaces are available this month on Saturdays 11th (11th SOLD OUT) and 18th.
Trips are scheduled out for remainder of 2018, use the book now button below for schedule.

Have you ever wanted to dive clear black abyss? Here is your chance to drift peacefully along a current line somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. You can watch tiny organisms seemingly made of light and rainbows making their way through life around you.

This may be the most extreme dive of your lifetime, the Pelagic 1-tank dive night dive. We start at Waianae Small Boat Harbor just before sunset. You will watch the sunset on the way to the dive site, where the depth is about 2000ft.

After the sun goes down, the real fun begins. You jump in, floating tethered in the deep dark sea. We take small groups of 8 divers max and wait to see what goes by, usually not descending any lower than 50 feet.

You may see jellies put on a colorful display that can only be described as breathtaking. Some of the animals are so bizarre, you’ll think they are aliens from another world. Some zooplankton, that only rise to the surface to feed when the lights go out, are now visible to us. Join us on this adventure!

Dive for Life

6th Annual Oahu Dive for Life August 26th, 2018

Our favorite event of the year is here.  Our annual fundraiser event for the American Cancer Society will be here Sunday, August 26th.  We will again be at our favorite shore diving site, Sharks Cove on the North Shore, diving for 12 hours to raise money for the fight against cancer.

We always have great support from the diving industry who donate amazing prizes for our teams and individuals that raise the most money. Over the past 5 events, we have raised over $36,000 for ACS, and we have had the best time doing it.

This year we have the great sponsorships again! These amazing sponsors donate tens of thousands of dollars in prizes, and we are honored to dive for them and those fighting cancer.
