Partners Resource Network TEAM Project is one of three Texas Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) funded through the Department of Education.  We provide free information, technical assistance and ARD support to parents of children with special needs.
Our mission is to empower parents of children with disabilities to be effective advocates for their children and to promote positive parent/professional partnership.
Letter From the Director
Dear TEAM,

School is right around the corner, and if you are anything like us here at Partners Resource Network, that can create a little anxiety. Will last year's IEP still work, will the new teachers be able to reach my child, and will this next transition in life go smoothly? Please know that you are not alone! Partners Resource Network is here with some amazing training and support opportunities this month to help you through this next step. Please take some time looking through your local and online options below. They will not disappoint!

Together Everyone Achieves More,

Kim Torres

Back to School Basics: Communication Skills for Parents & Students
Webinar Event in Collaboration with the Ohio PTI

CLOSED CAPTION WILL BE AVAILABLE
This workshop is designed to provide parents with practical working knowledge of the contents of an IEP as defined by IDEA. Through the process of writing an IEP, we will learn to set reasonable and measurable learning goals for a child with a disability, and to state the individualized services that the school district will provide for that child.
We hope you'll join us as Steven Aleman and Carrie Griffith, Disability Rights Texas, discuss dyslexia and education. We are currently in the planning process and will be posting more details about the content of this webinar as they become available.

CLOSED CAPTION WILL BE AVAILABLE
This workshop will provide an overview of the ARD process so that parents will be prepared to participate at every stage of the process. Participants will gain an understanding of the ARD meeting agenda, as well as their procedural rights and responsibilities.
