General Notices

  • A Midsummer Night's Dream Fairy Dress Up Civvies Day - Monday 13 August - 2 Free tickets for the best dressed fairies per grade!
  • World Challenge Spur Fundraiser on Wednesday 8 August 6-9 pm at the Rodeo Halaal Spur outside Cavendish. Profits will go to fund our community project at a school in Morocco. All support will be appreciated.

Women's Day Assembly

Highlights:
  • Important PGSGU dates for all Winter Sports
  • Saturday 18 August – RHENISH DERBY DAY – All HOCKEY & NETBALL Teams will be playing matches against RHENISH @ RHENISH (Rhenish is hoping to host us on Friday 17 August under their new astro lights, no schedule received yet. Please watch your emails closely). 
  • Saturday 20 October – Open Air Movie Night (venue RGHS) – Water Polo tour Fundraiser – please diarise & support! 
  • Cross Country, Hockey, Netball and Squash results
 
Energy Drive Tour to SARETEC

This term, the Grade 11 Physical Sciences students were required to do a research project on Alternative Energy for South Africa. This made the tour to the SARETEC (South African Renewable Energy Technology Centre) facilities on the 6th August, the perfect opportunity to improve the learners' knowledge of renewable energy.

LO Matters

  • Grade 11 & 12s: Aviation Pilot Training (APT) is hosting an Open Day on 1 September 2018 at their hangar (click here for more information). Attendees can book introductory flights on the day.

Old Girl, Hayley McIntosh (E 2002) - pictured right -  is a Computer Scientist and spoke to the girls about Careers in Information Technology on 7 August.
