Another week of high humidity and afternoon rains. We are thankful for this season. Video
This week we harvest the last of this batch of chickens for the Saturday market. There will be a one to two week break before the next batch is ready to harvest but we will have frozen chicken to get us through the fresh chicken break. This is the last week of buy three get one free promotion on our ground beef (until Aug. 15th) so grab it while you can.
The egg production is slowing down but the new layers are starting up. What that means is we have quite a few pullet eggs which are a little smaller than normal but perfect for egg sandwiches. The pullet eggs are only $4 per dozen. Please get in touch before the markets to reserve eggs to insure that I have some for you.
Both markets will have:
- Chicken and duck eggs
- Frozen whole and half chicken--Fresh chicken Saturday only
- Pork sausage (mild, hot, maple, kielbasa, sweet Italian, zesty Italian, brats, and breakfast links)
- Pork roasts
- Beef (roasts, Hotdogs, ribs, and ground beef)
- Steaks! Ribeye, T-Bone, Chuck Eye, Sirloin Tip, Tenderloin, Skirt, Hangar, Flank, Flat Iron
