Why you must attend journalism conferences

I've been thinking more about investing in myself and improving my reporting skills. So, despite the steep cost, I really enjoyed this year's NABJ Convention. I'm getting back in the swing of things, so there's no new post this week. (Sorry!) But here's an oldie-but-goodie post about the benefits of shelling out a bit of cash for journalism conferences.
