Clash of 4NCL dates

Junior 4NCL
Venue: Mercure Daventry Court

We are not planning to enter a team for Weekend 1, because it clashes with the 4NCL Congress in Nottingham! However, if you want to enter a team there is now an online form to register to play.

20th 4NCL Congress

Venue: Park Inn by Radisson, Nottingham
Date: 28th-30th September

There are FIDE-rated Open and Major sections, and an ECF-graded Minor section for players graded ECF under-135.

Recommended for playing conditions and good competition!

Leicester Rapidplay

Venue: Leicester Grammar School, Leicester LE8 9FL
Date: Sunday 7th October, 9:30am – 6pm

ECF Graded 6 round Swiss Rapidplay. All players play in all rounds. Many sections including a Minor U115 and two junior sections: U80 for under-16s and U40 for under-11s.

Entry fee: £11.50 for junior sections, £15 for other sections if ECF silver members.

Rate of play: all moves in 20 mins each with 10 second increment per move.

Coventry Junior Open

Date: Saturday 6th October 2018, 12.00-17.00
Venue: King Henry VIII School, Warwick Rd, Coventry CV3 6AQ

ECF-graded 5-round rapidplay with sections for U9, U11, U14 and U18 for both boys and girls. Time control is all moves in 15 minutes + 10s increments.
