Hey <<First Name>>,

This week I came across my first bit of Halloween merchandise in a Target store. Each year this symbolizes to me that Halloween hunting season is in full swing and that more and more retailers are going to be stocking their shelves Halloween merchandise.

While this week I still plan to share with you some of the bigger stories you may have missed from AllHallowsGeek.com, it'll be a footnote to this week's newsletter so I can share with you some of the highlights of my Halloween hunts so far this season.

Michaels

As always, Michaels was one of the first stores to stock Halloween this year. By early August I believe my store was fully stocked. This years selection is quite witchy and filled with a large number of canisters, potion bottles, and the like. But here are some of my favorites.

Tuesday Morning

Overall I wasn't too enamoured with the selection of Halloween at Tuesday Morning, however, I was quite fond of these few items in particular.

Kirkland's

Kirkland's has again put out some of my favorite home decor so far of the season. This is a sampling of some of my favorite pieces, but you can catch more of this year's collection in the Instagram posts where I captured more of the items here, here, and here.

Homegoods

When I visited my local Homegoods they were just starting to put out their Halloween merchandise. They were also the first store where I started noticing repeat merchandise from 2017. These are a few items that appeared to be unique to this year that I liked, but you can definitely see about a dozen other products over on Instagram.
In addition to the above, I've uncovered Halloween at Pier 1, JOANN Fabric and Craft, and the 99 Cents Only Store all of which I shared previously on Instagram.  I also came across the start of Halloween merchandise at The Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx, Ross, Target and Walmart, though the selection is nowhere near what I found at the above stores, so keep an eye out at these locations as their full selection of merchandise is sure to hit store shelves in the next week or so.  To see a wider selection of everything I've seen so far this year, definitely go check out the Instagram account for more.

Here's what you may have missed this week from All Hallows Geek..

Also as a quick reminder, I'll be at ScareLA this weekend both days taking in some of the panels, screenings, and of course checking out all the spooky vendors. So be sure to follow All Hallows Geek on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for all the latest from the convention.

Keep it Creepy,
